- Medical and Diagnostic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide in hospital diagnostic laboratory services in order to care for your pets' complete health care needs. We also can help you decide if a veterinary specialist should be consulted.
- Dentistry: Our dental services include cleaning and polishing, digital dental X-rays, tooth extractions and oral surgery. Juvenile interceptive orthodonics restorative dental procedures.
- Surgical Services: Routine reproductive control, soft tissue surgery and selected orthopedic cases. We also have a board certified surgeon who comes in for more complex procedures.
- Anesthesia: We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high risk patients. The patient's vital signs are monitored constantly by a dedicated technician for oxygen levels, pulse and respiratory rates, and blood pressure. Intravenous fluids are used to support blood presure. We are able to do a pre-anesthetic blood profile in hospital to minimize risks.
- Radiology Services: Our on-site, X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders. We also offer digital dental radiology services, and B- and M-Mode Ultrasound Services to non-invasively look at the abdomen and the heart.
- Electrocardiography Services: We provide ECG monitoring services on-site as well as telediagnostic consultations with cardiology specialists.
- Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
- Preventive Health Care Programs:
Examinations- Wellness counseling Vaccinations - Tailored to individual needs and exposure Dental Services Parasite Control Nutritional Counseling Geriatric Biannual Check-Ups New Puppy-exams/ New Kitten exams- New owner counseling - Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, shampoos, medical diets, and parasite preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also utilize an on-line pharmacy for client convenience and harder to find medications.
- Individualized Flea and Tick Control Programs: We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas and ticks in your house, in your yard and on your pet.
- Dietary Counseling: We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance. We counsel on the advantages of specialized diets in many chronic disease conditions and in food allergy.
- Behavioral Counseling: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression. We also provide referral for the dog or cat which have “special needs”.
- Emergency Care: We are happy to see all emergencies which happen during our open hours. If your pet’s emergency happens after hours, please see the Emergency Advice List and call the Animal ER if necessary
