In Case of an Emergency
(See "Is this an Emergency Chart?" - below)

If during our closed hours then please call:

Veterinary Specialty Hospital
(858)875-7500

10435 Sorrento Valley Rd.
San Diego, CA  92121

This emergency clinic is staffed 24 hours a day.  They are the best equipped hospital in San Diego County!  See the map below.

ASPCA Poison Hot Line
(888)426-4435

If you have a poison emergency, The ASPCA has a free poison information website and a "for fee" service staff (open 24 hours).  There is a consultation fee (approx. $50) to talk to a poison expert.  However, most cases can be handled by the emergency vet or your regular veterinarian without need for a consult.  The ASPCA is a great asset for unusual poisonings (like our recent case of the hungry labrador and beer fermenting materials!!)
